The Phil Housley Foundation
PHF Mission
The Phil Housley Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed with the mission to promote youth hockey development by providing underprivileged kids in the East Metro Twin Cities area the opportunity to play hockey. In addition, the Phil Housley Foundation has partnered with the Pioneer Press children’s charities in Minnesota, making a difference in the lives of kids across the State.
PHF Goals
Through various events, the Phil Housley Foundation is looking to raise money to assist in continuing the fulfillment of our mission of benefiting youth hockey players in the Twin Cities East Metro area, and contributing to Newspaper in Education. Through Newspapers in Education, students of all ages are provided with the daily newspaper to help develop strong reading and writing skills, while allowing them to explore math, science, politics, health, geography and current events.
